In most cases, this issue is caused by your browser's microphone permissions. Follow the steps below to enable microphone access:

On Google Chrome (computer or mobile device):

1. Click the lock or site settings icon next to the address bar.
2. Find the Microphone option.
3. Change the permission to Allow.
4. Refresh the Placement Test page.

On Safari (iPhone or Mac):

1. Open your device's Settings.
2. Go to Safari.
3. Find the Microphone permission.
4. Select Allow.
5. Return to the browser and refresh the Placement Test page.
