What is "Active Monitoring" and which actions are recorded during the Placement Test? (en)
Active Monitoring is an automated system designed to help ensure the security and integrity of the Placement Test.
During the assessment, the system may automatically record actions such as:
- Navigation and screen activity: switching browser tabs, minimizing the window, exiting full-screen mode, or using multiple monitors.
- Copy and paste actions: selecting or copying question content, or pasting text from external sources into your answers.
- Browser actions: right-clicking to open the context menu or accessing the browser's developer tools.
- Unusual behavior: answering questions in a time that is inconsistent with normal reading or displaying automated typing patterns.
